Built for South Florida

Why our laminate holds up here.

Water-resistant collections

Sealed joints and water-repellent surfaces handle spills and wet feet for hours, perfect for busy kitchens and entries.

Sand and paw proof

The hard top layer resists scratches from beach sand, dog claws and chair legs better than most wood floors.

Quiet over slabs and condos

We add the right underlayment to soften footsteps and meet condo sound rules where required.

How we install it

Four steps to a laminate floor done right.

  1. 1

    Measure and prep

We measure, remove and haul away the old floor, then check the slab for flatness.

  2. 2

    Level and underlayment

We level low spots and roll out a moisture barrier and sound underlayment.

  3. 3

    Click-lock installation

Planks click together with staggered seams and hidden expansion gaps around the edges.

  4. 4

    Trim and cleanup

Baseboards or quarter-round, transitions at doorways and a full cleanup before we go.

Straight answers

Laminate questions, answered.

Is laminate waterproof?

Many of today’s laminates are water-resistant, with sealed joints that handle spills for hours. They aren’t designed for standing water in full bathrooms, so we’ll point you to vinyl plank or tile there.

What’s the difference between laminate and vinyl plank?

Laminate has a harder, more scratch-resistant surface and a wood-based core. Vinyl plank has a fully waterproof core. We’ll help you pick based on your rooms and lifestyle.

Is laminate good with dogs?

Yes. Its tough surface is one of the most scratch-resistant options available, which makes it a great pick for pet owners.
