How much does new flooring cost in South Florida?
Your total depends on the material you pick, the square footage, and how much prep the subfloor needs. After a free measure, you get one itemized written price covering materials, prep, installation and cleanup. Most projects run a typical South Florida range of about $2–$15 per square foot installed for most materials, with premium hardwood, stone, and complex preparation costing more.
Is the in-home estimate really free? Is there any obligation?
Yes. The visit, the measure and the written quote are free. You’re under no obligation to buy, and we won’t pressure you to decide on the spot.
Does your price include removal of my old floors and installation?
Your written quote lists removal, haul-away, subfloor prep, installation, trim and cleanup as separate lines, so you can see exactly what you’re paying for. Nothing gets added after you sign.
How long does installation take?
Most single rooms take a day, and LVP and laminate take about 1–2 days per 1,000 sq ft, tile about 3–5 days, engineered hardwood 2–4 days plus acclimation, and carpet usually 1 day. Preparation can add time. We’ll give you a firm schedule with your quote.
Can you install new flooring over my existing tile?
Sometimes. If your tile is solid, flat and well bonded, some floating floors can go right over it, which saves time and money. We check it during the visit and tell you honestly if it needs to come up.
What’s the best flooring for pets and kids?
Waterproof luxury vinyl plank is the most popular choice because it handles spills, scratches and muddy paws. Porcelain tile is nearly indestructible, and many laminates now resist water and scratches too. We’ll help you compare them in your own rooms.
Do you handle condo and HOA soundproofing requirements?
Yes. Many South Florida condos require a specific sound rating under hard floors. We review your association’s rules and specify an underlayment that meets them. We also prepare the paperwork your board needs.
Are your installers employees or subcontractors?
Your floor is installed by our own licensed & insured crews, trained on every product we sell and accountable to us, not random subcontractors. You’ll know who is coming before install day.
What warranty do I get?
Your floor carries the manufacturer’s product warranty, plus our own lifetime workmanship warranty on the installation. If something we installed isn’t right, we come back and fix it.
